Shocker Toys debuted their Metalocalypse Dethklok action figures this summer at the San Diego Comic Con. At the Con, they were selling an exclusive debut box set of all 5 of the Dethklok members, with a limited run of 500 sets. Well, supposedly they have expanded the initial run by a bit and you can order the box set from their website if you missed it at SDCC. The set sells for $80, which includes shipping.
They are also working on Wave 1 of the Dethklok series for retail, but release news is sketchy at the moment. As with many small niche toy lines, it is often difficult to get retailers to pre-order them in enough quantity to make the line financially feasible. If and when Wave 1 does arrive, expect it to be the same 5 figures from the box set, but sold individually. Without some good sales though, there likely will never be a Wave 2.
Update: See the comments section for new details on Wave 1 and 2.
