Pee Wee's Playhouse was an incredible orgy of craziness that graced the CBS Saturday morning cartoon lineup in the late 1980s. But few people probably remember that it also inspired a line of toys from Matchbox. Watch the commercial above for a look at the toy versions of Pee Wee and some of the cast, as well the large interactive Playhouse playset.
The show was cancelled in 1991 when Pee Wee was caught doing some naughty things in an adult movie theater. But the toys live on!
