Toys 'R' Us has been performing a nationwide reset this week, changing around the shelf space devoted to certain toy lines. Reports of this broke on the internet a few days ago, and a trip to my local Toys 'R' Us confirms the findings.
The biggest benefactor I can see is the G.I. Joe section, who has been given more pegs for action figures and additional space for boxed merchandise such as vehicles and DVD-sets. The 25th Anniversary G.I. Joe line has been hard to find in stores, especially the rarer figures. Before this reset, Toys 'R' Us devoted only a small end cap to the figures, but hopefully this new room will herald in larger shipments in the future.
One exclusive that is destined for Toys 'R' Us in the near future is the G.I. Joe Sea Command 3-pack (pictured above). The new figures included in this set are Deep Six, Lt. Torpedo, and Cutter. And now you know; and knowing is half the battle.
Update: Here is a picture of all three of the upcoming Toys 'R' Us exclusive 3-packs.
